Get Involved with Our Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Green Outreach. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fighting climate change and making our planet greener, and we need passionate volunteers like you to create meaningful change.
When you volunteer with us, you gain new skills that help your community address climate challenges. Whatever your skill level, you can contribute to our mission for climate justice, spark conversations about the issues that affect your community, and help build a more inclusive climate movement.
Together, we can raise awareness, drive action, and create a sustainable future. Join us today.
Two Ways to Get Started
Choose the path that fits you. Both make a real difference.
I Need Verified Community Service Hours
For a court, probation, agency, school, or employer. Sign up, start right away, and receive a completion letter on our letterhead when your hours are done. No waiting for us to contact you.
I Want to Volunteer My Time
Join cleanups, outreach, and sustainability education, and choose opportunities that fit your schedule and interests. Tell us what you enjoy, and we will find the right fit for you. We do not verify hours on this path.
Court-Ordered Community Service
Court-ordered volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to sign up. If you need proof that you completed your hours, we charge a small administrative fee to monitor and track your work. Once you finish, you receive a letter from our organization confirming your completion.
Alternatives to incarceration are a better solution than mass incarceration in vulnerable communities. We want to help anyone facing jail or increased fines by giving them meaningful ways to give back while learning new ways to protect our planet.
When you volunteer through Green Outreach, you will:
- Complete your community service with a reputable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- Choose from hands-on cleanup projects and low-impact options like writing, photography, and social media.
- Receive valuable training that shows you new ways to make change in your community.
- Help reduce unnecessary fines, fees, and incarceration in vulnerable communities.
- Get proof of your hours on our letterhead to submit to the court, probation officer, or agency.
Many of our court-ordered volunteers keep giving their time after completing their required hours. It is never required, but your help is always appreciated as we work toward lasting change for future generations.
